YuLife, Insurance Onboarding Animation
YuLife is a B2B insurance company with a product built around life's unexpected moments. The onboarding animation needed to explain a life insurance product in a way that felt human and approachable rather than clinical or fear-driven.
My role
In-house creative team designer and animator responsible for the onboarding animation. I designed the hero illustration from scratch, animated it, and animated the supporting scenes within YuLife's illustration style.

The project
Explain the product to new users with emotional weight but a warm, approachable tone, as a narrative across financial protection, health, and everyday life. Challenge: convey loss without depicting it.

The solution
The hero is a house being built, a metaphor for continuity: life and the home go on, because the family's expenses are covered. That framing drove composition and pacing. I designed and animated the house from scratch in YuLife's warm, flat style, plus supporting scenes (lock, heart, clock), and wove in the giraffe mascot to tie the story to the brand and keep the tone light.
